Edgewood Tahoe Lodge Vision
Project Overview
The Edgewood Tahoe Lodge Project proposes an exceptional, LEED-designed hotel on the unique property of the current 248-acre Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. As proposed, the Lodge would sit adjacent to the current Edgewood Clubhouse on the 18-hole golf course. The lodge will serve as a catalyst for South Shore's reinvention while delivering tremendous water quality benefits for a 4,000 acre watershed. The world-class, LEED designed Lodge will include 194 hotel rooms, health spa, bistro style restaurant, as well as improvements to the golf course and club house.
Environmental Redevelopment
The Edgewood Tahoe Lodge Project will include significant and unprecedented water quality improvements for the Edgewood Creek watershed. The plan includes the transfer of development rights from a blighted site within city limits to the Lodge Project. Upon completion of this transfer, Edgewood Tahoe Lodge will restore the blighted site and create a significant, cutting-edge community benefit that reduces commuter traffic, provides jobs and increases lake clarity and more.
