Edgewood Tahoe Resort Vision
Project Overview
The Edgewood Tahoe Resort Project will deliver an exceptional, LEED-designed lodge on the unique property of the current 235-acre Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. As proposed, the Lodge would sit adjacent to the current Edgewood Clubhouse on the 18-hole golf course. The lodge will serve as a catalyst for South Shore's reinvention while delivering tremendous water quality benefits for a 4,200 acre watershed. The best-in-class, LEED designed Lodge will include 154 hotel rooms, 40 fractional residences, a health spa, bistro style restaurant, as well as improvements to the golf course and expansion of the existing clubhouse.
Environmental Redevelopment
The Edgewood Tahoe Resort will include significant and unprecedented water quality improvements for the Edgewood Creek watershed. The plan includes the transfer of development rights from blighted sites along the South Shore to the Resort Project. In conjunction with transfer of development resources, the Edgewood Tahoe Resort has restored many of the blighted sites and is creating a significant, cutting-edge community benefit that reduces commuter traffic, provides jobs and increases lake clarity and more.
